IMDS

Fill in Company ID. It is a numeric combination. Example: 3434

Fill in the complete material name. It is a combination of letters and numbers. Example: POLYfill PP CQX10030E10F

Fill in a complete color name. For example: Gray

Fill in a complete color code. Example: P12313 or 1141. (If the color code is missing, fill in the color in this field as well)

Fill in the end customer/OEM, e.g., Volvo. Depending on the OEM, the IMDS information may need to be adjusted.

Fill in your complete article / material number. Is a letter and number combination. Example: 85714

Fill in the supplier code that Polykemi has in your business system. May be a number combination. Example: 99114

The International Material Data System, IMDS, is an online database where most vehicle manufacturers require that the materials for their components are registered.

We are happy to assist you in registering materials in IMDS, but in order to do so, we need the following complete information from you.

 

  1. Your Company ID in IMDS

  2. Complete and correct material name, including color and color code

  3. Part number/Material number. This number is mandatory. Without it, no IMDS report can be submitted.

  4. Supplier Code. This refers to the supplier code that Polykemi has in your business system. Some customers/end customers will reject the IMDS report if this number is missing.
